Palisades House

This project proposes a total renovation and partial addition of an inexpressive boxy house from the 70’s. The addition holds a garage, living room and master suite in three 11’ clear floors that enhance the house’s vertical space. The reception floor is open and directed to the rear park views, a perforated wall defines the circulation while maintaining some transparency. Cubes of different colors, depths and textures articulate the façade: cedar siding screens give privacy to the entrance and rear porch.
